On top of the A Link Between Worlds news we got earlier, Nintendo also provided us with an extra dose of Zelda info. This time in regards to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. The Nintendo Direct stream showed a new trailer for the game as well as revealing some new gameplay elements.

Sailing, one of The Wind Waker's biggest components, was also one of the game's biggest areas of complaint due to its slow pace. During the game's trailer it was revealed that Nintendo has added a new "speed-up" button.

Nintendo has also changed the little-used Tingle Tuner into the Tingle Bottle. This item will be used on the GamePad and will bring a wide-range of Miiverse features to the game.

Lastly, the game was revealed to run in 1080p.

    Even though I still have my gamecube version, I'm still tempted to get this HD remake should I buy a wii u in the future
