"Enter the Dominatrix" was originally the title for a proposed expansion pack to 2011's Saints Row: The Third. But as former publisher THQ faced financial troubles while the expansion began to grow larger, "Dominatrix" was instead morphed into a full-fledged sequel, what we now know as Saints Row IV.
It looks like "Dominatrix" will get new life, however, as developer Volition revealed at the Saints Row Comic-con panel that the content still exists, and will be brought on as DLC approximately a month and a half after Saints Row IV's August 20th release.
Of course, if the "Enter the Dominatrix" content already exists, it would have been nice to just see it in included in the game at launch, as other DLC for Saints Row IV has already been confirmed. But at least we'll be seeing what came of it after its troubled development history.
