Nintendo of Japan acknowledged the existence of the game-breaking save glitch discovered in the recently released 3DS RPG Pokemon X & Y and has promised a fix in the near future. The fix will not only remove the glitch but restore the save files of affected players who can no longer play the game after saving in Lumiose City and re-loading ther file.
The above map was provided by Nintendo of Japan showing where the glitch occurs. Players should not save their games within the areas of Lumiose City highlighted blue, which includes the outer streets and a couple of inner pathways.
