Indie developer Hello Games - most well known for their work on the Joe Danger series - announced a rather intriguing and beautiful game at the VGX Awards called No Man's Sky, which is summed up as follows:
Every planet procedural.
Every planet unique.
Every planet unexplored.
It's a procedurally generated science fiction game that features space exploration, space and land-based combat, and entirely unique worlds to discover and explore. The art style is looking fantastic as well.
It's certainly an ambitious concept, and there are understandably doubts about whether such a small developer with just 6 employees can pull it off, but what we've seen so far looks fantastic.
