King, the developer of the highly popular mobile game Candy Crush Saga has managed to successfully trademark the word 'Candy'.
The trademark covers not just video games, but also items like calculators, earphones, and mobile phone accessories.
King have already started issuing warnings to developers on the App Store that have released games with the word Candy in the title, insisting they remove the relevant game(s) from the store due to trademark infringement or prove that they're not infringing the trademark.
