As many of you Steam lovers will already know, it was a tad bit irritating that you weren't able to cancel games that you pre-ordered and instantly be refunded for it.
Instead you would have had to endure the grueling process of contacting customer support in order to get your money back for the canceled product. Strange, I know.
However, it seems this is a thing of the past as now, when you cancel a Pre-ordered game, the funds should appear in your wallet as soon as you do so. Provided you have the latest client update.
Valve haven't really shouted this news loudly, most likely because Pre-ordering isn't exactly the most popular way to go for PC gamers seeing as all their games can be downloaded instantly on the day of release rather then waiting for those pesky physical copy deliveries. But I guess it's nice to finally have that option without any of the hassle.
