Activision has announced that the 2014 edition of Call of Duty will come from Sledgehammer, the developers who assisted Infinity Ward with Modern Warfare 3. Meaning that the two year dev cycle between Treyarch and Infinity Ward has now been extending by including the third studio
So the question is, will the criticism towards COD diminish when more time is given to develop each game, with the hope quality is improved. Or is this move merely to cater for the longer dev time needed on next gen platforms?
