With The Elder Scrolls Online having been released for a few weeks now, you'd have thought any truly game-breaking bugs would have been patched out by now.
Alas, it turns out that players are exploiting a bug that allows them to duplicate any item that they wish, with many players now having billions in gold, effectively destroying the MMO's economy and causing many legitimate players to worry that the servers will be reset.
The bug is worrying, as it can accidentally be used by legitimate players as well as those who try to abuse it, meaning that if Zenimax Online prosecutes any players using this bug, they may annoy a large majority of their player base.
An e-mail has been sent out to Zenimax Online to ask for a statement on what will happen in regards to this bug. We will update this story accordingly as more information comes in.
