Motovo Blog collected Facebook data to provide a mock-up of what the United States electoral votes would look like... if PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were running for President. The results are to be taken with a grain of salt, but it's certainly an amusing concept.
Note that the map is generated based on the amount of Facebook "likes" each system has (including Wii U) and not on specific sales in each state.
Surprisingly close tallies can be found on Motovo Blog which provides a state by state breakdown of the results.
For those who are counting, Xbox One "won" the United States with a total of 22 states while the PlayStation 4 came in second with 19. 9 States remain 'undecided'. Finally, the Wii U seems to take the place of the Independent Party; a small minority in each State like it very much and are strong supporters, while the rest of the United States simply asks "who?"
