Crytek's Xbox One launch title Ryse: Son of Rome will bring the ancient Roman action to PCs this Fall, the company has announced. The game will be published digitally by Crytek themselves, while Deep Silver will handle publishing duties of the physical release.
Ryse: Son of Rome was released exclusively for Xbox One at that console's launch and was lauded for its superb graphical display. The PC version will kick that presentation up a notch with the option of 4K resolution - perfect for players with top-notch gaming PCs.
With Crytek currently suffering from financial distress, bringing Ryse: Son of Rome to the PC is a logical step towards defraying the company's losses. Should it sell well, the company may consider revisiting a sequel, after it was reportedly canceled earlier this summer.
