BBC iPlayer App Coming to Xbox One This Year

The BBC iPlayer App will finally be making its way to the Xbox One by the end of 2014, the BBC's Marcus Parnwell has said in a blog post.

The big screen player (seen above) will also be retired, meaning that the Xbox One's interface may be completely new, leading to a more user friendly interface.

No information was given as to a specific release date, but expect more details to be revealed as the end of the year approaches.
