PS4 Gets Its YouTube App

As of yesterday's 2.0 update for the PlayStation 4, Sony's latest console now has a YouTube app.

On Sony's PlayStation Blog, software engineer Richard O'Grady wrote that the app will play videos in full 1080p, and with 5.1 surround, making for a properly cinematic experience.

With this addition comes the ability to upload video clips you record on the PS4 straight to YouTube. Pressing the share button in game or anywhere on the system will allow players to now select from YouTube, a feature many gamers have been asking for since the console's release.
