Deadshot, real name Floyd Lawton, is a villain of Batman and in the DC universe, who first appeared in Batman #59. He is a hired assassin that is said to never miss a shot. He came to be because of accidentally killing his brother, whom he loved, while attempting to kill his abusive father. Because of this incident, he trained himself to never miss a shot and eventually offers his services in exchange for money.
Deadshot has appeared in a few games related to the DC universe, such as being an unlockable character in the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions of LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. His first appearance, however, was as an enemy in the NES Batman game, where he appeared in stages 1 and 2. He shows up in the background of the Stryker's Island stage in Injustice: Gods Among Us. His appearance in Arkham City is that of one of the minor villains, while he is one of the eight assassins hired by Black Mask to kill Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins.
