Haytham Kenway is the main antagonist of Assassin's Creed III and the father of main protagonist Connor Kenway. Born to the Assassin Order, Haytham defected to the Templar Knights at an early age due to Reginald Birch.
Sent to America to find a First Civilization storehouse and establish an Order in the New World, Haytham became the first Grandmaster of the American Templars. Through his journey, he met and became lovers with the Native American woman, Kaniehtí:io, and fathered Connor Kenway.
