Ostegoth is a merchant in the Kingdom of the Dead in Darksiders II. Who he was in his past life is a mystery, but when Death is transported to the Kingdom of the Dead Ostegoth welcomes him. Revealing the truth that the Tree of Life is only a gateway to other worlds, Ostegoth tells Death that in order to resurrect humanity he would need the Well of Souls from the Lord of Bones.
