Thane is the brother of Ulthane, from Darksiders, and a trainer of weapon combos in Darksiders II. When the Corruption enveloped the Forge Lands, Ulthane escaped while Thane became stuck in the Forge Lands. Despite this, Thane does not regret his fate and aids Death in his quest to reach the Tree of Life.
Residing in Tri-Stone, in the Forge Lands, Death can challenge Thane to a duel. Upon defeating him, he gives a series of side quests that requires you to kill four bosses scattered across Darksiders II.
