Yellow Toad is one of the many standouts of the Toad species, having appeared as one of the main protagonists in New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros. U. He was one of the playable characters in those games, along with Mario, Luigi and Blue Toad. He also appears in Mario Party 9, as the host for the story mode, as well as the main boards.
He has shown to be very courageous, even standing up and fighting Bowser himself, which is not like the Toad species at all. In Mario Party 9, he is shown to be very child-like, jumping up and down to cheer on his friends. He also has a higher pitched voice when compared to Blue Toad.
