Esther Mailer high-ranking police officer in the Columbia police department and minor character in Bioshock Infinite. When Esther is first encountered she mistakenly addresses Elizabeth as "Annabelle". Later when Booker is buying tickets for First Lady's Aerodrome in the ticket area, he is ambushed by Esther and her accomplices, leading to her death.
A Voxophone found later confirms that Esther was preparing for Booker and Elizabeth's arrival in the hopes of reclaiming Elizabeth for Zachary Hale Comstock. The fake identification was to confirm that the pair was indeed the correct one.
