Overlord Zetta is the self-proclaimed "Most Badass Freakin' Overlord in the Entire Cosmos" and main character of Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome.
After Pram the Oracle prophesied the destruction of the Netherworld, Zetta sets out to prevent it's destruction. Discovering and reading the Sacred Tome, which states that the destruction will occur due to his own stupidity, he burns the Tome in a fit of rage. Unbeknownst to Zetta, this causes the Netherworld to fold and in order to survive, Zetta binds his soul to the Sacred Tome and ventures to rewrite his world into existence by having the other Overlords of Netherworlds write wishes within his pages.
In Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, Zetta can be encountered as a hidden boss in the Stellar Graveyard. After defeating him in Disgaea DS, the player can also recruit him as a playable character.
In Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories, Zetta can be encountered as a hidden boss after completing 10 Dark World stages and passing the bill to "Meet the Strongest Overlord." After defeating him in Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days, the player can also recruit him as a playable character.
Zetta was also added as a DLC character in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice and as arecruitable optional boss in Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten. He also makes a cameo appearance in Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle.
