Wander is the player character and protagonist of the PS2 action-adventure title Shadow of the Colossus. Using only his sword, his bow, his horse Agro and his wits, he must defeat sixteen colossi to appease Dormin, a mysterious godlike creature who speaks to him through a hole in the temple ceiling, and thus resurrect a girl named Mono, who is either his lover or his sister (it is never specified).
His sword, in addition to being a weapon, uses focused rays of light to point him towards his destination and highlight the weak points of each colossus he encounters.

Shadow of the Colossus is an action-adventure game developed by Team ICO and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan for the PlayStation 2 and Playstation 3. It was first shown at DICE summit in 2003 as an early tech demo depicting a group of masked, horned boys riding horses while attacking and defeating a colossus. It was released from late 2005 to early 2006, exclusively on PS2.4.465
