Turtle Rock Studios is an American video game developer based in California, USA. It was founded in 2002 and become independent in 2009.
Early on Turtle Rock Studios worked mainly on Valve's Counter-Strike series and the Left 4 Dead series. Its first major release as an independent studio is Evolve.
