Super Mario Odyssey is a platformer game developed by Nintendo and released on Nintendo Switch. It is set to release in the 2017 holiday season and is the sixteenth title in the Super Mario series. The game takes place in an unknown world, with some areas taken out of the real world, where Mario appears to be rescuing Princess Peach (yet again!) from Bowser, who kidnapped and is forcing her to marry him. It is described as taking place in a "sandbox world, similar to Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine."
