Equipment in Final Fantasy X is pretty standard fare, although you are able to customize weapons and armor with Auto Abilities. Each piece of equipment may come with some Auto Abilities, but those that don't may have open spaces. By using items, the player can attach these Auto Abilities to the piece of equipment.
