Ghosts'n Goblins is a 1985 platform arcade game developed by Capcom. It is the first in the Ghosts'n Goblins franchise and since it's release it has been re-released and ported to several other platforms.
The player controls Sir Arthur who must defeat zombies, ogres, demons, cyclopes, dragons, and other monsters in order to rescue Princess Prin Prin, who has been kidnapped by Satan, King of Demon World.

Port Variations
The Commodore 64 version was released in 1986 and is best known for its music by Mark Cooksey. Due to the limitiations of the Commodore 64, it only features The Graveyard and Forest, The Ice Palace, The Floating Platforms and Firebridge and The Caves. There are also slight changes to the story and characters.
