RESOGUN Overview
Resogun (stylised as RESOGUN) is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up developed by Finnish indie developer Housemarque and published by Sony for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
The spiritual successor to Housemarque's popular Super Stardust series, RESOGUN remixes ideas and influences from classic arcade titles such as Defender, Data Storm, or Japanese shmups like DoDonPachi and DeathSmiles. The game doesn't only focus on destruction, but has players rescue people, and includes a number of different ships to choose from and co-op multiplayer.
