Dream Events return from previous installments in the Mario & Sonic series. They are similar to Olympic Events, but with a less-realistic twist. Rather than taking place in Sochi like the Olympic Events, they take place in locations inspired by Mario and Sonic stages.
There are eight events, most of which are twists on the Olympic Events, with the exception of Snowball Scrimmage, which is an exclusive Dream Event. Like with the Olympic Events, many of the Dream Events are similar to dream events from Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.
