Most of the events, including Snowboard Cross, Snowboard Parallel Giant Slalom, 4-man Bobsleigh, Skeleton, Biathalon, Alpine Skiing Downhill, Ski Jumping Large Hill, Freestyle Skiing Moguls, Freestyle Ski Cross, Figure Skating Singles, Curling, Ice Hockey, and Short Track 1000m return from previous installment Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. New to Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games are Figure Skating Pairs and Snowboard Slopestyle.
