Sony's PlayStation 4 console has reached the 2 million milestone in the UK, according to estimates produced by tracking firm GfK Chart-Track.
The console passed the milestone over the weekend, which means that it reached the 2 million sales mark faster than the PlayStation 2. It's also well worth noting that it reached the 2 million sales mark in just 75 weeks, whereas it took 42 weeks to manage the first million sales.
Unsurprisingly, GfK Chart-Track figures also place the PlayStation 4 in first place in terms of numbers sold in 2015 thus far.
