Sony is planning to release a 1TB PlayStation 4, according to a filing with the FCC, as reported by Engadget. An announcement is expected at E3 later this month.
There are two new PlayStation 4 models listed under the FCC filing. One comes with a 1TB HDD and the other with the standard 500GB HDD. Both models are slightly lighter and use less power than the current PlayStation 4 model. Although it is possible that a slim model is in the works, this could just mean Sony has manufactured a slightly more efficient version of the same design.
