Chris Charla, Microsoft's Director of ID@Xbox, has written up a post on the Xbox Wire detailing the indie developers Microsoft are partnering with to bring indie titles to the Xbox One.

Following criticism that the platform was less welcoming to indie developers than rival platforms, Microsoft revealed their ID@Xbox initiative, which intends 'to lower the barriers for independent developers to self-publish on Xbox One'. Alongside the Unity platform being free for developers, and ongoing plans to enable any retail Xbox One to become a dev kit, Microsoft have also shipped dev kits to over 50 indie studios.

Listed below is the first batch of indie partners to be revealed by Microsoft, which Charla claims is far from comprehensive:
