Retailer GAME Sells Tinned Christmas Dinners

UK video game retailer GAME has apparently begun trials of a tinned Christmas dinner at its Basingstoke store and is considering selling them across the UK. The vile-looking dinners, pictured below, retail for £1.99 and come in two different varieties: one with sprouts, the other with broccoli instead.

It's a concept that took flight based on a survey which found that 43% of gamers intend to spend the majority of Christmas day playing games. The GAME Christmas dinner saves both time cooking and cleaning up afterwards (unless you throw it all back up, of course).

The meal's creator, Chris Godfrey, had this to say: “I tried to ensure when creating the menu that all the flavours complemented one another and it was designed so that gamers can eat one layer at a time, starting with breakfast and finishing off with Christmas Pudding – the perfect Christmas Day meal without any of the fuss.”
