Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Brings Banana Based Bonuses

Following up on Nintendo's announcement of Cranky Kong being a playable character in Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze at the VGX Awards, We've also been blessed with news of new features and a new trailer.

While very little new was announced for the upcoming game, we do now know that Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze will include a bonus feature that turns all enemies on the screen into items (be it stars, hearts, or balloons) when 100 bananas are acquired. Add this to a roster of four Kongs, multiplayer, and HD visuals, and you have what might be the biggest and best entry in the franchise.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze will launch on the WiiU on February 21st 2014.
