Shovel Knight, the successful kickstarter indie game from Yacht Club Games, has finally gotten a release date of June 26th, for the Wii U, 3DS and PC.
The Wii U and 3DS versions will only be available at launch for the US market, as Yacht Club Games works towards localising the game for European markets.
Shovel Knight was meant to be released September 2013, and again on March 31st 2014, but the game had a few delays due to some development troubles and the need for extra polish.
The recieved a lot of attention whilst being kickstarted, which resulted in 14,749 people backing the project to the tune of $311,502 in April of last year.
