While last generation the Kinect device proved a huge hit with consumers, it hasn’t had nearly the same success on the Xbox One. This past spring we saw Microsoft almost disown the motion tracking add-on by announcing Kinectless Xbox Ones for $100 less than their Kinect counterparts.
Today we learn that Microsoft will start selling Xbox One Kinect stand-alone units on October 6th for $149.
