Kat is a medium and ally to Dante in the Devil May Cry reboot known as DmC. Orphaned when she was a child and troubled with terrible nightmares, Kat would aimlessly wander limbo to escape them and her abusive demon foster father. Eventually, Kat managed to run away and was found by Vergil, who took her in and killed her foster father. She now works for Vergil and was sent to warn/help Dante against the demons.
