Candy Kong is a character from the Donkey Kong Country series. She is the rumored girlfriend of Donkey Kong, the first female Kong to appear in the series, and an ally to him and his friends. She is best known for providing save points in the Kong's adventures, as well as hosting minigames.
Candy Kong first appeared in Donkey Kong Country for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, allowing the player to save their game. In the Game Boy Color version of the game, Candy's role became manager of minigames. In Donkey Kong 64, Candy provided instruments for the Kongs to use against the Kremling Krew, and also sported headphones on her head instead of the bow she had previously. Candy Kong also distracted King K. Rool at the end of the final boss fight, allowing Funky Kong to blast him with his weapon.
