Firefly, whose real name is Garfield Lynns, is a villain in the Batman universe. As Garfield, he used to work as a pyrotechnic expert for movies, until poverty made him turn to crime. He eventually becomes obsessed with fire so much and being inspired by actual fireflies, he builds a suit and becomes a professional arsonist. Firefly has an extensive knowledge of explosives and inflammable substances.
Firefly has appeared in a few games, although only physically in two. He is a playable character in only the Nintendo DS version of Lego Batman. He is mentioned in both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, but does not actually appear in those two games. It is in Arkham Origins where he is one of the eight assassins hired by Black Mask to kill Batman.
