Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - Trophies

  100 Headshots (Silver)
You should naturally be trying to conserve ammo by going for headshots. This is cumulative over all your playthroughs, so it should come naturally.

  20 Headshots (Bronze)
You should naturally be trying to conserve ammo by going for headshots. This is cumulative over all your playthroughs, so it should come naturally.

  30 Kills: Arm Micro (Bronze)
The Arm Micro is an Uzi-type weapon that becomes pretty common starting from Chapter 6 onwards. It is cumulative across all playthroughs, so any time you see one drop from an enemy, pick it up and use it until you get the trophy.

  30 Kills: Dragon Sniper (Bronze)
This trophy is cumulative across all playthroughs, but there is one particular spot where it is easy to get it. It is Chapter 8, where you are on the rooftop and there are 5 guys shooting RPGs at you. The trick is to use the Dragon Sniper to kill 4 of them, then restart the checkpoint over and over until you get the trophy.

  30 Kills: G-MAL (Bronze)
The G-MAL is a pretty common weapon found throughout the game, so you should have no trouble getting this on your quest for the platinum trophy. Remember it is cumulative across all playthroughs.

  30 Kills: KAL 7 (Bronze)
The KAL 7 is another weapon that is commonly found throughout the game, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting this. Remember it is cumulative across all playthroughs.

  30 Kills: M9 (Bronze)
The M9 is a pretty common weapon found throughout the desert chapters of the game. Remember it is cumulative across all playthroughs.

  30 Kills: Mag 5 (Bronze)
This gun isn't as common as others in the game. One of the best spots to farm kills for it is in Chapter 19, the second area with enemies. You have to shoot down a pillar to advance, and you should encounter an enemy with a T-Bolt Sniper. To the left of him is the Mag 5, so kill enemies in the next section until you run out of ammo, then reload the checkpoint to do it again. Note that this weapon, when used by the enemy, has a red laser sight.

  30 Kills - Mk-NDI (Bronze)
These are your grenades during the game. You first gain access to grenades during Chapter 6, and they're pretty common after that point. You can only carry four grenades at one time, so should you come across some when you have 4, try and use them on the enemies so you can restock.

  30 Kills: PAK-80 (Bronze)

The PAK-80 is a pretty rare gun in the game, with only a handful of locations where you can get it. One of your first opportunities for this trophy is in Chapter 14, in the area with the moving shipping containers. You'll first fight a miniboss with the PAK-80, as well as some other goons. Defeat the goons first, then concentrate on the boss to take his PAK-80. More guys will drop down, so kill all but one with the weapon, then reload the checkpoint.

Another opportunity comes in Chapter 19, where you encounter a mounted machine gunner on a jeep, on top of a platform supported by some pillars. Take out the pillars to take out the jeep, and you can find the PAK-80 in between the pillars on the left side where the jeep was. Take out all of the enemies, except for one, then reload the checkpoint to do it again until you get the trophy.

  30 Kills: RPG7 (Bronze)

This trophy will take a while, because the RPG7 is usually in limited quantities, as you usually find them with only 1 shot most of the time. There are a few spots where you can farm the kills, such as in Chapter 12, in the area with the floating platforms. There is a RPG7 on a dock near where you first enter the area, as well as one with 3 shots under the turret that's further away. Kill as many as possible, then reload the checkpoint until you get the trophy.

Another spot you can farm this is in Chapter 19, in the same spot as the PAK-80 spot. Take out the turret first, then you can find a RPG7 in front of the area, closer to you, where the pillars and turret was.

  30 Kills: SAS-12 (Bronze)
This weapon is a little rarer than others, but you'll likely run into it a little more often later in the game, when you run into a lot of armored enemies. A great spot to farm this is either in Chapter 16, when you jump through the opening in the roof (one of the guys has the SAS-12). After you open the door, a jeep will come up and there will be 6 guys in it; kill all but one and then reload the checkpoint until you get the trophy.

  30 Kills: T-Bolt Sniper (Bronze)
In Chapter 19, you will come to an area where you have to shoot down a pillar to continue. One of the first enemies you run into will have the T-Bolt Sniper. You only have 5 shots, so make sure you kill 5 enemies, then reload the checkpoint and do it again until you get the trophy.

  30 Kills: TAU Sniper (Bronze)
The TAU Sniper is a relatively rare gun in the game, although there is a very easy place to farm this. Go to Chapter Select and select Chapter 13, which will start you out with the TAU Sniper. Go to the next area, kill 4 of the 5 enemies here, then reload the checkpoint until you get the trophy.

  Adept Fortune Hunter (Bronze)
There are 101 treasures in the game, which includes the Strange Relic, and you need 60 in order to get this trophy. If you collect every treasure from the beginning, including the Relic, then you should get this trophy with the first treasure in Chapter 12.

  Apprentice Fortune Hunter (Bronze)
There are 101 treasures in the game, which includes the Strange Relic, and you need 20 in order to get this trophy. If you collect every treasure from the beginning, including the Relic, then you should get the trophy with the first treasure in Chapter 5.

  Bare-knuckle Brawler (Bronze)
You need to defeat 20 enemies with hand-to-hand combat. There are plenty of areas where you need to hand-to-hand, so this should come naturally as you play the game.

  Bare-knuckle Slugger (Bronze)
You need to defeat 50 enemies with hand-to-hand combat to get this trophy. There are plenty of areas where you need to use hand-to-hand, but you might not have enough in order to get this trophy in one playthrough. It is best to get this out of the way earlier than later, since you'll be up against more powerful guns later in the game.

  Blindfire Marksman (Bronze)
You must defeat 20 enemies with blindfire, while in cover. You can't aim with the L1 button, so you must get into cover and then move the right analog stick to get a good target on an enemy, then kill them with a gun while not using L1 and still in cover. Note that this is a little easier the closer the enemy is to your location; also a shotgun can make it slightly easier, too.

  Brute Beater (Bronze)
You get this trophy by countering all of a Brute's damage-giving attacks. You have to press Triangle any time it appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. You'll first encounter a Brute in the bar in Chapter 1, but you won't be able to get this trophy until later on. If you happen to miss this and finish the game, go to Chapter 12 and you should fight a Brute after fighting a few regular enemies.

  Buddy System (Bronze)
All you have to do to get this trophy is play through one Cooperative multiplayer game to the finish. You can also get this by playing it in splitscreen.

  Charted! - Crushing (Gold)

You have to complete the game on Crushing difficulty, but you must first complete the game on any other difficulty to unlock Crushing. You can either get it by playing from a New Game, or by choosing Chapter Select and beating each one on Crushing. Here are some tips to help with making Crushing a little easier:

- Always use cover. Using cover is going to save you from a lot of deaths. Also, don't use cover around corners, as you can slowly peek around them to help take out enemies easier.

- Headshots are a must, as it saves you ammo, which you'll undoubtedly need a lot of as the game goes on.

- Stealth kills help out a lot, so try and do as many as possible. This helps you save ammo, as well as get access to better guns and more grenades, as stealth kills will yield more of that.

- After clearing an area of enemies, make sure to go around and collect any ammo on the ground, as well as grenades you find.

- Always have an area to run to, in case you get flanked, or enemies toss grenades at you (which they will on Crushing). This ensures you can always have a safe spot away from the danger.

- Know your enemy and learn from your mistakes. You're going to die more than once on Crushing, so make sure you learn what you did wrong, as well as know where enemies come from, and how many.

  Charted! - Easy (Bronze)
You need to finish the game on Easy difficulty in order to get this trophy. You really shouldn't have any trouble with completing this on Easy, if you do it on this difficulty on your first playthrough. Note that all difficulty trophies are stackable, so finishing it on Normal or Hard will also get you this trophy.

  Charted! - Hard (Silver)
You need to finish the game on Hard difficulty in order to get this. Note that difficulty trophies are stackable, so finishing the game on Crushing will also unlock this, provided you finished it on Easy or Normal the first playthrough.

  Charted! - Normal (Silver)
You need to finish the game on Normal difficulty in order to unlock this trophy. The difficulty trophies are stackable, so finishing the game on Hard or Crushing will also unlock this, if you finished it on Easy your first playthrough.

  Combat Leapfrog (Silver)
You need to defeat 10 enemies in a row, alternating between gunfire and hand-to-hand. The first thing you need to do is find a place where you can find enough enemies that allow you to do this. The earlier chapters might be easier, since you won't be running into harder enemies, like armored men with shotguns. Note that if you accidentally kill two enemies with guns or hand-to-hand in a row, then the counter resets and you must start over again.

  Drop the Bomb Hotshot (Bronze)
You need to shoot 5 enemies, as they're preparing to throw a grenade at you, which will make them drop it and blow themselves up in the process. This will undoubtedly come as you play through the game, but if you actually need it, then sit back and watch the enemies until you think they're readying a grenade.

  Dyno-Might Master (Silver)
You need to kill 4 enemies with one explosion to get this trophy. It's a little bit tricky, but there is a certain spot in Chapter 16 that is perfect for this. You get onto a roof and have to drop through an open window to get a door open for Elena. If you silently kill the one enemy here, he will drop a grenade, which you will need in case you don't have one. Once you open the door, a jeep will approach and 6 enemies will come out of it; you need to get to the back door and throw a grenade down once the third enemy comes out of the jeep. If you don't get it right the first time, reload the checkpoint to try again.

  Expert Fortune Hunter (Bronze)
There are 101 treasures in the game, which includes the Strange Relic, and you need 80 in order to get this trophy. If you collect every treasure from the beginning, including the Relic, you should get this with the second treasure in Chapter 15.

  Expert Ninja (Silver)
You need to stealth kill 5 enemies in a row in order to get this trophy. A good spot to get this is in Chapter 8, when you meet up with Chloe and Cutter. The first enemy can be jumped on from above, and the next can be pulled over the short wall he is standing in front of. The next one patrols, but if you hide on the corner of the wall, then you can stealth kill him when he approaches. The next one is tricky, since there's another guard patrolling ahead of him that you must watch out for; hide behind the one short wall and pull him over when he gets near. All that is left is to sneak behind the last one and if you do it right, the trophy will unlock; if a guard sees you, then reload the checkpoint and try again.

  First Treasure (Bronze)
All you have to do is find one treasure, which is easy to do since there are two in the very first room you start in. Either pick up the one behind the bar, or on the arcade machine to get this trophy.

  Grenade Hangman (Bronze)
You have to kill 10 enemies with grenades while hanging from a ledge or something. You can try for this in the same spot as Dyno-Might Master in Chapter 16; hang from one of the boxes and toss a grenade (stealth kill the one guy when you jump down to get a grenade if you need it), then reload the checkpoint until the trophy unlocks.

  Hangman (Bronze)
You have to kill 20 enemies while hanging from a ledge or something similar. This will undoubtedly unlock while going through the game, as there are plenty of spots where you're hanging from the side of something and encounter enemies.

He's Gonna Need a Sturgeon (Bronze)
This is one of the chapter-specific trophies in the game; you need to hit three enemies with fish in the market brawl in Chapter 10. Stay close to the tables with the fish on them, while you're fighting the enemies. You should see a Square prompt pop up in the bottom right corner, which will make Drake grab a fish and smack the enemy with it. There are three fish on different tables, so this can be achieved in one go, but reload the checkpoint before you kill all the enemies in case you didn't get it.

  Headshot Expert (Bronze)
You need to KILL five enemies in a row with headshots. There are plenty of opportunities for this, especially when you pick up a sniper rifle or the TAU Sniper. It is probably best if you play on the easiest difficulty for this, in case you want to try without any sniper rifle. Remember to always aim for the head when trying to go for this.

  Land Shark (Bronze)
There are only two chapters you can get this, since they are the only ones where you will encounter enemies while swimming, which are Chapter 12 and Chapter 13. You can only use a sidearm while swimming, and you must make sure you're actually in the water and not hanging from something. Kill as many enemies as you can with the sidearm, then reload the checkpoint and do it again; Chapter 13 might be a good spot, since there are a lot of enemies in the first area.

  Marco Solo (Bronze)
This trophy can only be obtained in Chapter 14. Not that far into the chapter, you'll come to a swimming pool; simply jump in and after Drake says "Marco," the trophy will unlock.

  Master Fortune Hunter (Silver)
There are 101 treasures in the game, which includes the Strange Relic, and you need 100 in order to get this trophy. If you collect every treasure from the beginning, including the Relic, then you should get this with the first treasure in Chapter 22 (the final chapter).

  Master Ninja (Bronze)
You have to stealth kill 50 enemies total in order to get this. You can use the location in the Expert Ninja trophy to farm these kills, if you need any.

  Platinum (Platinum)
This unlocks once you have acquired every other non-DLC trophy in the game.

  Pro-Pain (Bronze)
You must kill 10 enemies with propane or acetylene tank explosions; the easier of the two is the propane tanks that you will find littered throughout the game. You can either throw them towards enemies and shoot them in the air, or shoot ones on the ground already when enemies are near them. In the same spot as the Dyno-Might Master trophy in Chapter 16, there is a propane tank sitting on the ground, so grab it when the enemies are getting out of the jeep and shoot it to explode, hoping to kill enemies (reload the checkpoint until you get the trophy).

  Quick Study (Bronze)
You can only get this trophy during Chapter 2 of the game. You will need to inspect almost all of the display cases in the museum, but the story continues when you inspect a specific case, which is on the second floor. Inspect all of the ones on the first floor, which is done by pressing the Up on the directional pad in front of the display case. Once you check all the ones on the first floor, start going up the stairs, making sure to inspect the one on the way up. On the second floor, avoid the one in the middle of the room, as that will advance the story, making sure you go around the room, inspecting each one until you see the trophy unlock.

  Relic Finder (Bronze)
You have to find the Strange Relic, which is located in Chapter 4 and it is counted as one of the 101 treasures you can find in the game. It is found in the long cylindrical waterway that you must climb down. Instead of going down, climb up and you can find the relic in a grating.

  Reload Master (Silver)
You have to kill 50 enemies in a row without auto-reloading, which happens when all of the bullets are fired in a gun's clip. It is best to use a gun with a large magazine, such as the M9 or AK-47 or even a pistol. Make sure you try to go for headshots, which will help you save ammo and make the counter go faster. One last tip is to keep an eye on the amount of bullets left in your clip and to ALWAYS manually reload.

  Ride the Crocodile (Bronze)
This trophy can only be done in Chapter 5. You will come to a library and eventually get into a fight with some enemies. After that is over, you will have to leave, but before you leave, take the stairs to the second floor. At the first intersection, take a right and then take a left. Look over the middle railing and you should see a crocodile hanging up; all you have to do is jump over the railing and touch the crocodile. You don't have to land on it and stand on it.

  Riot Rocker (Bronze)
You have to defeat 5 Riot Shield enemies by running over their shield. This is done by shooting the shield enough so the enemy falls down, then simply go up to the shield and push Square. Drake will run over the shield and then you have to push Square again to kill the enemy (you should just keep tapping Square throughout, to avoid failing). A good spot to farm this is in Chapter 15, when you're escaping the sinking ship. There's a fight in the one small room where you are up against some Riot Shield enemies. Kill them by doing the above, then get killed or reload the checkpoint.

  Rolling Ammo Master (Silver)
You have to pick up ammo while rolling 20 times in a row. This is best to do in a wide open space, so you can avoid accidentally going into cover. Also, it is best that you do this with a gun that you aren't carrying. Roll with Circle, then press Triangle to pick up the weapon while you're rolling. If it's done right, your old weapon will be on the ground and you can keep doing it until the trophy unlocks.

  Run-and-Gunner (Bronze)
You have to kill 20 enemies while firing from the hip, which is done by firing while running and not aiming. Make sure that you do not hold down the L1 button to aim, since that won't count towards this trophy.

  Side Arm Master (Bronze)
You have to kill 30 enemies in a row with your sidearm, which are pistols and the Arm Micro (anything you use that is set to the left button on the directional pad). Remember you have to kill 30 in a row, so don't switch guns or use a grenade. If you run out of ammo, simply reload the checkpoint until you get the trophy.

  Skilled Fortune Hunter (Bronze)
There are 101 treasures in the game, which includes the Strange Relic, and you need 40 in order to get this trophy. If you collect every treasure from the beginning, including the Relic, then you should get this with the last treasure in Chapter 8.

  Survivor (Silver)

You have to kill 75 enemies in a row without dying in order to get this and you cannot reload the checkpoint to trick your way to this trophy. If you die in any way, then the counter will be reset. There is a slight trick that you can do to help with this trophy, though, which involves keeping 2-3 save files.

For instance, you have a streak of 20 enemies killed without dying and you kill 10 more, which gives you 30. Save your game to 2-3 files now and you can load up the game, which will restart you in that section with the 30 kills intact. A good spot to do this is in Chapter 19, since there are some sections where you can kill a lot of enemies.

  Thrillseeker (Bronze)
All you need to do for this is finish one Competitive multiplayer game, to the finish. This trophy require the Online Pass, so players who have a used copy will need to buy the Online Pass to get this; new copies come with the code for the Online Pass, so you don't need anything else.

  Throwback (Bronze)
You need to kill 10 enemies with thrown-back grenades. Uncharted 3 has a slightly added mechanic to throwing back grenades. When a grenade lands near you, you will see a meter come up, and when it is in the white area, press Triangle to throw it in the direction you're facing. A good spot for this is in Chapter 22, which is detailed in the Throwback Master trophy.

  Throwback Master (Bronze)

You have to throw a grenade back and kill two enemies at the same time. Uncharted 3 has a slightly added mechanic to throwing back grenades. When a grenade lands near you, you will see a meter come up, and when it is in the white area, press Triangle to throw it in the direction you're facing.

A good spot for this is in Chapter 22. When you begin the chapter, you will have to cross a bridge. Before crossing it, kill all the enemies in the vicinity, except for those on the bridge (kill the armored enemies). Take cover next to the doorway leading across the bridge, and wait until an enemy throws a grenade. Throw it back and hopefully you kill two enemies with it. If you don't, simply wait some more or reload the checkpoint to try again.

  Truck Brawler (Bronze)
This can only be unlocked during Chapter 20. During this chapter, you will be riding on a horse and chasing after a convoy. You will have to jump onto some trucks and kill the enemies on them. Naturally, kill them using hand-to-hand combat instead of guns. If you run out of enemies, simply reload the checkpoint and do it over until the trophy unlocks.
