Skill Trees

During the game, you gain SP from killing enemies, exploring areas, and others. This SP goes towards levelling up skill trees. These skills are essential late-game, and can help towards a wide variety of things. Some, for example, may increase defence. Some may increase movement speed. Some may increase exp. gain, and some may allow you to equip different armour.

Achievements

Xenoblade Chronicles features an achievement-based system, similar to those seen on other consoles. By doing any number of things in the game, you'll gain an achievement, be it from killing an enemy, dying, falling off a cliff, seeing the sun rise, or many more.

Cheats

1 One good way to raise affinity is by fighting an enemy a few levels higher than your party say 3 or 4 levels and the battle should last out for awhile as long as your able to survive This gives you alot of opportunities to pick your team mates up when they get knocked down raising their morale when they need it and getting affinity burst This way you gain a nice amount of hearts by the time you win Even if you lose you keep all the progress you gained up until death and are respawned by a checkpoint
2 Another good way to raise affinity is to take put certain characters with you who have low affinity into the main party and do side quests the active team mates will talk to each other while talking to the quest giver increasing their affinity more
3 Find an enemy that can inflict stun or sleep and stand back and watch your team mates get stunned or put to sleep Now run up and unstun them with the B button increasing affinity and repeat if you can

4 Eventually you will find enemies that have a 100 chance of dodging and can only be killed with certain moves This gives alot of burst affinity opportunities and it causes your teams tension to drop now run up to your team mates when this happens and encourage them increasing affinity
