Overview
New for Madden 13, Connected Careers combines the modes "Franchise" and "Superstar" from previous editions to create a whole new experience. It allows you to play in a career mode with other players online or play in your own career offline.
Upon starting up Connected Careers you can choose to either coach a team, or be a player on a team. If choosing to be a player you can then either create your own player, take control of an existing player on a team, or you can use a Hall of Fame legend that has been unlocked through Ultimate Team.
Playing online allows players across the world to compete in a league against each other in their specific roles. So for example, if one player has chosen to be a QB and the other has chosen to be a LB then those players will only control their player in games, with the rest of the game being played by the computer.
