Phil Nantz and Jim Simms not only provide the commentary but also appear in an in-booth cutscene before each game, with unique backgrounds for each stadium.

All the new Nike uniforms and alternate uniforms are featured in the game.

Based on the time of day the lighting changes occur per play (instead of just changing at quarter breaks in previous editions).
