Description
The Torch is an item that can be picked up in certain areas and last 5 minutes. Unlike most items in Dark Souls, it is not added to your inventory.
As the name implies, it illuminates dark areas.
Torches are carried in the player character's left hand, replacing the spot ordinarily used by a shield. You cannot, however, hold two handed weapons and a torch - if you equip a two handed weapon it will extinguish the torch.
Locations
Torches can be found throughout the game, including in the following locations:
- On a corpse along with a Soul of a Lost Undead near the first bonfire after exiting the house of the Old Ladies.
- On several corpses in the Forest of Fallen Giants.In a chest in the abandoned mansion in Majula.
- Drops from some torch wielding enemies in The Gutter.
Torches can be re-lit at a bonfire or wherever it was originally lit at, and will once mroe last 5 minutes.
