
The McLaren P1 is a plug-in hybrid supercar made by the English company McLaren Automotive. This car is to be the F1's successor utilizing hybrid power and Formula 1 technology. The P1 features a revised version of the 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine used in the McLaren MP4-12C, tuned to 727 bhp, and is combined with a KERS electric motor that produces 176 bhp too. It is capable of almost 240 mp/h, but with the electric engine can only go about 220 mp/h, and can go from 0-60 mp/h in 2.7 seconds.
