Various components of a car can be upgraded in CSR Racing. These can show positive, as well as negative changes, on a car's statistics. Some upgrades, such as decals and paints, do not cause any changes to the statistics, though when applied give race cash bonuses.

Component upgrades are available in 5 stages, the 4th and 5th upgrade being Import Upgrades, which require time to be delivered after purchase before they can be applied on a car.

Nitrous
This upgrade provides the Nitrous boost option in races, and does not modify any stats. A higher level Nitrous will offer a more impactful boost in races.
Decals
Decals do not provide make any stat changes, but some decals provide Cash bonuses in races.
