Adam Bitterman has been acting since age 7. He studied with such luminaries as Byrne and Joyce Piven (who calls him one of their "shining lights"), Stella Adler, David Mamet and William H. Macy. Adam moved West from Chicago in 1997. While taking his shots at Film and Television, he frequently appears on stage in Los Angeles. He was a founding member of LA's acclaimed Sacred Fools Theater Company and serves on their Board of Directors.
Adam received a Garland Award Honorable Mention for his performance in "Heaven". Following the sudden death of his father (renowned artist Richard Bitterman) in 2012, Adam moved back to Chicago where he continues to act on stage and screen.
