Erik Wolpaw is an American videogame writer and along with longtime friend Chet Faliszek they co-wrote the Old Man Murray commentary website. The website, which brought their satirical understanding of cliched game design to the attention of many senior figures within the games industry, has been referenced in many computer games since its creation.
His most famous work is that of the dialogue for Portal and Portal 2.
