    Have you told your mate to install the game to his hard drive? It might make the load times faster. All the games that I am going to be playing for a loooong period of time, I always install on my hard drive to save my laser and any disc burn.

    I purchased my BF3 in June and i also encountered the same thing. But i had to download a 6 GB of patch, and 14 GB for 5 DLC's.

    No problem! At least, not in my case... have had my 360 since Christmas of 2009 (w/e year MW2 came out).... it's MW2 spec edition and has 250 Gigs..... Have I hit the 200 GB point?.... Probably, but I'm not sure.....
