Sony has announced that a patch is in the works for Bloodborne which will address a number of performance issues associated with the game (not to be confused with the day one patch that has already been released).
Bloodborne released to universal critical acclaim today in North America, but some performance issues have already been noted by reviewers and fans, including lengthy load times, a number of minor bugs, and other similar issues.
The development team hopes that the patch which is currently in the works will alleviate most of these issues:
"The development team is currently exploring another patch for Bloodborne, seeking ways to improve load time duration, in addition to other performance optimisations and miscellaneous bug fixes."
No word yet on a potential release date for this performance optimisation patch.
