Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (PS4) was the top selling game in Japan for the week April 12, according to Media Create, as reported by Gematsu. The game sold 20,494 units.
Last week's top game, 3rd Super Robot Wars Z: Tengoku Hen (PSV), is down one spot to number two, with sales of 15,394 units. The PlayStation 3 version sold 14,394 units.
Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition is at number four with sales of 11,842 units. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 (PS3) is at number five with sales of 10,777 units. Bloodborne (PS4) is at number six with sales of 9,780 units. Sword Art Online: Lost Song (PSV) is at number seven with sales of 9,037 units.
The 3DS was the top selling platform with sales of 26,841 units. The PlayStation 3 sold 17,885 units, the PlayStation Vita sold 17,517 units, and the PlayStation 3 sold 4,221 units. The Wii U sold 6,654 units, while the Xbox One sold just 238 units.
