Batman: Arkham Origins has suffered from numerous bugs - including some that prevent players from progressing in the game - but the developer will not be patching these issues, focusing instead on creating downloadable content for the title. That news comes from the "Arkham Community Manager" on the WB Games forums.
"The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums," read the post from Mercury, an admin on the forums.
This means that players who are currently stuck in Arkham Origins have been given the cold shoulder. Some of the bugs being reported include repeated crashes, corrupted save files and being locked out of missions or content that the player should have access to.
All hope is not lost for those stuck in the game however, as admin Mercury shined a glimmer of hope into this dark situation.
"If we do move forward with creating a new patch, it will try to address the progression blocking bugs for players, not the minor glitches that do not prevent one from continuing to play," Mercury continued. "The issues that are not progression blockers will unfortunately no longer be addressed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for some of you, and want to thank you for having been patient."
